Introduction
And in today’s video, we are going to go over a full tutorial on how to make money using Pinterest, especially for beginners and we’re actually going to go over exactly how I built it to 130,000 monthly views. Of course, after the intro.
Introduction to the Creator
Hey guys, how’s it going? Mike Fail from mikfail.com, and in today’s video, we have another tutorial when it comes to social media, making money, passive income, and whatnot.
Discovering the Potential of Pinterest
As you can see right here on my Pinterest, I never actually realized that you could make a living from Pinterest. I mean, if you were to tell me that there’s people out there making $1,000, $2,000, $5,000, $10,000 a month part-time just pinning things on Pinterest, I wouldn’t have actually believed it because I never thought that people could actually do that.
Overcoming Doubts
Then I looked deeper into it, and I figured it out. Here’s the craziest thing: I didn’t have background experience in Pinterest. I never really used Pinterest, and I had zero experience. So if I was able to figure this out on my own and make at least upwards of five grand in a single month using these strategies, then why can’t you?
Step 1: Creating a Website
The first step to starting a Pinterest is, if you could see on here, a lot of these are directing to a specific website. Meaning, if you want to make money on Pinterest, you have to have a website in the beginning, which is fine.
Step 2: Figuring Out Your Content
Once you actually create your blog or your website, the next step is figuring out what kind of content to actually create.
Understanding Your Ikigai
What changed for me was when I figured out what was known as the Ikigai. Now, the Ikigai is very interesting—it’s a Japanese concept meaning “a reason for being.”
Applying Ikigai to Your Life
The Ikigai simplifies everything and just gets you to the core of who you actually are as a human being: like what you want to do with your life, who you want to be, where you want to go, and how you can actually get paid for it.
Step 3: Creating Pinterest Boards
The third step is actually going into Pinterest and creating boards that people could actually search for. This is where a bulk of my Pinterest visitors are finding me.
Step 4: Designing Pinterest Pins
The fourth step is actually creating a Pinterest pinnable image that people are actually going to click on.

Step 5: Leveraging Tailwind Tribes
The fifth way, which is a little bit more of an advanced way and might take a little bit of startup capital (but it’s not necessarily needed especially when getting started), is using Tailwind Tribes.
Making Money Through Pinterest Traffic
The goal is to continue doing this until you start getting maybe a couple thousand views per month. Once you do that, you could turn on tools like Google AdSense.
Beyond Advertising: Other Monetization Methods
Advertising is just one way to make money. Other ways include creating your own course, creating your own product, or recommending someone else’s product through affiliate marketing.
Consistency and Growth
The hardest part is figuring out Pinterest, especially for me because, like I said, I’m really bad at graphic design.
Final Thoughts
Hopefully, this helps. This is something that I think can help out a lot of people with no attention to start getting those eyeballs to start making some good money online.
